A lit five-inch mandir with the full ritual set — trio, diyas and incense — in a satin-lined chest.

A five-inch preserved-forest display carries a two-inch steel Laxmi-Ganesh pair, with moss and flowers set around them. The ritual arrives complete alongside it, in corked glass and cork — nothing has to be bought separately on the morning. A festive card holding real preserved botanicals in a corked bottle is the piece that gets kept.

• The display is the year-round piece. Preserved moss and flowers hold their colour without water or light, so it stays on the shelf well past the festival.
• The ritual arrives ready. Trio, diyas and incense together mean the morning needs no trip to the shop — which is the actual complaint about most pooja gifting.
• Two floating cork diyas refill and re-light rather than burning down once, and twenty incense cones are made from upcycled temple flowers instead of fresh-cut material.
• Rigid MDF in forest-green rexine, 11 × 10.5 × 4", with a cushioned woven-fabric lid and twin gold lines. Gold foil inside the lid, a fitted ivory satin bed in the base, a brass clasp and twisted gold rope handles.
