Eco - The Bloom & Play Bag

Plantable stationery with a preserved-forest pod and a diya-and-bloom board game.

A 30 ml glass vessel on a brown cork base holds preserved moss and flowers — three and a half inches tall, and the only thing in the bag that lasts indefinitely. A 40-page plantable notepad and a four-piece seed writing set do the desk work. A diya-and-bloom board in a cotton pouch is what actually gets used on the night.

• The forest pod is the keeper. Preserved botanicals on a cork base need no water and no light, so it sits on a monitor stand long after the notepad is finished.
• The board game does something the price does not suggest. Ten laser-cut MDF pieces on a cotton pouch board — the piece a family opens together.
• Five plantable pieces — the notepad cover, two pens and two pencils. The game pouch is cotton rather than polyester, and nothing here needs separating before it is planted or composted.
• A 7 × 10" jute bag with a white net panel. It hands over as it is — nothing to wrap — and the bag gets reused afterwards.
