A thirteen-card plantable desk calendar with cards, seeds and sandalwood incense.

A thirteen-card seed-paper calendar, ring-bound on a dark MDF stand, carries marigold, tulsi and tomato — a month a card, then planted. Twenty-five sandalwood incense sticks handle the festival itself. A kraft card deck and a corked bottle of seeds and moss finish it.

• The calendar is a year-long object. Thirteen cards on a stand that actually holds them, and then thirteen things to plant.
• The incense is the piece used immediately. Twenty-five sticks at roughly forty-five minutes each — enough for the whole festival week rather than one evening.
• Twenty-five incense sticks made from upcycled temple flowers rather than fresh-cut material, thirteen seed-paper cards printed with water-based ink, and an uncoated kraft deck.
• A recycled kraft box with a printed festive wrap. Uncoated board, no plastic window and no foam, so the whole pack goes into the paper recycling in one piece.
