Eco - The Cork Table Box

A full cork table set with a bamboo flask and a preserved-forest stump.

Cork runs through this one end to end. An 8.5-inch facing tray with recessed wells takes four coasters, and a slim block calendar sits beside them — all natural cork over an MDF core, waterproof-coated so it survives a wet glass. A 450 ml bamboo thermos and a preserved-forest stump give the table something with height to it.

• The tray is the object that stays out. Waterproof-coated cork with recessed coaster wells — it lives on a side table long after the festival, which very little festive gifting manages.
• The flask is the daily piece. A bamboo body over a stainless-steel inner and filter, four hours hot and six cold — it leaves the house every morning.
• Cork is bark, stripped without felling the tree and regrown over about a decade — the tray alone carries four coasters cut from it. The stump's botanicals are preserved once and displayed for years, and the candle is beeswax rather than paraffin.
• A recycled kraft box with a printed festive wrap. Uncoated board, no plastic window and no foam, so the whole pack goes into the paper recycling in one piece.
