An eight-inch lit pen stand with marble coasters and plantable stationery, under a cork lid.
The Forest Terra pen stand runs eight inches across a desk, preserved moss and flowers held in clear acrylic compartments either side of the pens. Marble-and-wood coasters give the desk something with weight to it, and a bamboo stylus pen handles the screen. The evening half is there to be used up.
The pen stand is the anchor and it never needs attention. Preserved botanicals sealed in acrylic hold their colour indefinitely — no water, no light, no replacement.
Marble and wood, cut square at four inches. Coasters are the desk object most likely to survive a decade, so they are worth doing in natural material rather than printed board.
A thirteen-card seed-paper calendar and a festive seed-paper sheet mean fourteen things go into soil rather than the bin. The incense is made from upcycled flowers.
A square MDF box under a full cork-faced lid, over a matte black base. The cork is natural grain — unprinted and unlaminated, so the first thing the recipient touches is the material itself.
