A thirteen-card seed-paper calendar on a DIY MDF stand with a slot for the pen, a four-piece seed writing set, and a cork-covered sticky pad with colour flags. A corked bottle of seeds and moss sits on the desk as the one thing that is not stationery.

• The calendar is the anchor and it lasts the year. Thirteen seed-paper cards on a stand with a pen slot, carrying marigold, tulsi and tomato.
• It works as a welcome kit as much as a Diwali gift. Nothing in it is festival-specific, so the same box runs for onboarding through the year.
• Seventeen things to plant: thirteen calendar cards, two pens and two pencils. The sticky pad is cork rather than plastic, and all print is water-based ink.
• A recycled kraft box with a printed festive wrap. Uncoated board, no plastic window and no foam, so the whole pack goes into the paper recycling in one piece.
