Eco - The Panorama Desk Box

An eight-inch forest panorama with a full plantable desk set and a grow-it-yourself kit.

The panorama runs eight inches wide by four high — an MDF frame of preserved moss and flowers that sits on a desk or hangs on a wall. Everything with it is meant to be used up and then planted. A two-inch coco pot with cocopeat, seed and fertiliser gives the recipient something that actually sprouts on the desk.

• The panorama is the piece that stays. Preserved moss and flowers hold their colour for years with no water and no light — desk or wall, it needs nothing.
• The grow kit is the part people remember. A coco pot, cocopeat disc, seed capsule, fertiliser and a wooden marker — a small thing that sprouts in a fortnight.
• Everything paper in the box carries seed: thirteen calendar cards, the notepad cover, two pens and two pencils. All water-based ink, all plantable whole.
• A recycled kraft box with a printed festive wrap. Uncoated board, no plastic window and no foam, so the whole pack goes into the paper recycling in one piece.
