Eco - The Stump & Seed Bag

A preserved-forest stump with five seed bottles and cork coasters, in a zipped jute bag.

A polished wooden base carries a 110 mm glass capsule of preserved botanicals — the piece that goes straight onto a desk and stays. Five seed varieties come bottled in a printed tin, and a thirteen-card seed-paper calendar sits on its own MDF stand. Four cork coasters in a holder complete the desk.

• The stump is the display object. Preserved botanicals inside protected glass on a turned wooden base — nothing to water, and it holds its colour for years.
• Cork coasters in a holder are the piece with daily contact. Natural cork over an MDF core, four inches across, unaffected by a wet mug.
• Eighteen things to plant: five bottled seed varieties and thirteen seed-paper calendar cards carrying marigold, tulsi and tomato.
• A structured 9 × 9" jute bag with a zip closure. It stands up on a desk rather than collapsing, and becomes a document or cable bag afterwards.
