Eco - The Window & Play Box

A tabletop forest window with honey, seeds and a diya-and-bloom board game.

A 4 × 8 inch MDF frame carries printed forest artwork with preserved moss and botanicals set into it — a tabletop piece that stays out. A small glass pod of preserved forest on a cork base sits beside it. The rest covers the evening: something to eat, something to plant, something to play.

• The window is the display half and it is permanent. Preserved botanicals hold their colour indefinitely with no water and no light.
• Five pieces, and none of them filler. Something to look at, something to eat, something to plant and something to play — the shape of a gift that works across a mixed employee list.
• Marigold, mustard and tulsi in three glass bottles to plant. Raw unprocessed honey in glass, and a beeswax candle rather than paraffin.
• A recycled kraft box with a printed festive wrap. Uncoated board, no plastic window and no foam, so the whole pack goes into the paper recycling in one piece.
